Hey QC, saw this class on the wiki, just curious how it's coming along? Is it close to being live and testable? Or is it back burner and forgotten?

Will the final ability be a polymorph? Or something we can use like a self buff? Curious if spells and abilities will work..

It has been worked on lately, so it might come along in the near future, who knows! The wiki mostly reflect what abilities it has atm. The Solar form is a polymorph.

Well poop.. that means you can't smite, turn, or cast spells.. that's no fun at all.. this coming from the bear warrior champion. Any chance of rethinking that decision?

You could use 'Solar's Grace' and do your funny stuff.

Or Solar's Wrath.

Channeling Solar is not necessary... It is an option you have...

My personal opinion is that if items/spells/feats etc were somehow usable in another form, then that should work for all polymorphing. And that would take a lot of rebalancing.

Solar channeler together with Paladin Divinate kit looks pretty overpowered to me. :o

Just one feat to qualify for both :!:

Why do you say that? That was my goal with my build.. but you still have 1 min of solar and like 6 mins of paladin buffs, you're basically a burst char.

I play a lv30 paladin (divinate19) and with his doubled spell duration, EDM, DS it is already a very strong build.
(The doubled duration last long enough for dungeons like the vault.)
And he's an excellent turner.

Now, if one makes a lv30 paladin (divinate19/S.channeler10), it can get all the above build has and all the Solar channeler goodies on top of that - without any further cost !

Full spell progression ....
Glaring Eyes - use at will
Solar's Grace (up to 8 regenerate, SR 32, Fire & Elec 15) per Turn undead use for 3 minutes
Solar's Wrath (2d6 damage versus Evil,+5 Enhancement) per Turn undead use for 3 minutes
Channel Solar (Solar-like form gains +1 Strength, Dexterity and Constitution for every epic level over twenty hit dice) 3 times per day. Thats +10 STR/CON/DEX

Add EDM and D-Shield on top of all that.......

Only malus i can see, is 10 levels with low reflex saves.

(Based on the wiki info as i'm no QC member.)
The class needs some more qualification feats or/and no full casting progression.

You can't habe two kits in the same class.

Says it's a PRC on the wiki. Are you saying it's a kit and not a PRC?

For that matter, will paladins be getting a full spell progression PRC?

Well, that little piece of info seems missing in all kit descriptions.

Kit, and paladins are unlinely to get a specialized PRC any time soon, they've had enough content done for them. The two kits point simply had no reason to surface so far.

Well that's a bummer..
So when a kit runs out of levels, do you still get core paladin stuff, say epic feats and whatnot into the epic levels?

Yes you do.

Thinking of clerics, shouldn't it be a PRC for them ?
As a kit, it would allow a lv11 cleric (channeler) + 3 other classes/prc ?

Do clerics need more power ?
