Help me finish my build! (Fighter, WM, Frenzied Berserker)
Hi!
I've got 6 fighter, 7 Weapon Master so far, set up to go Frenzied Berserker on my next level, though I'm not sure where I should go from here in terms of class levels and feats.
Are there any essential feats, skills, or anything else I need to take?
How high does my UMD need to be?
Should I take a rogue dip?

That one is still a perfect example:
http://nwn2db.com/build/?58947
UMD 10 is enough for wands, 13 for class restricted items.

In terms of build, I'd suggest:
14 F
5 FB
7 WM
4 Rogue
Getting expose weakness is always a boon to any build!

Hmm, might do the Rogue route instead of the Whirling Dervish route - what would WD give?
I take it the investment to go 10 Frenzied Berserkr isn't worth the little increase in damage from Supreme Power Attack?
What feats should I go for? I've seen a "Northlander Hewing" mentioned, though I don't know if it'll help.
Is "Monkey Grip" worth taking, for reason beyond the fact that I think it's hilarious to run around with a tower shield and a 2h?

this kind of build would not be helped with NH.
dont need monkey. you will not use it much and if you do, you can get the tower that has that feat on it already.
i would not go R4 either. dont need EW. not at all. go AK-WoD4.

What's AK?
Whirling Dervish might be out of the question, I see it gives Spring Attack but I already took it for WM's requirements - and it would be tough to get 8 Hide and Move Silently.

If its a neutral build AK-WoD wont be avaiable, I went with 4 levels of Dragon Warrior on Lotrik, probably not optimal, but getting immunity to fear (and 6 wisdom) and guaranteed acid damage (trolls) is neat. However, I hate UMD, so I took no points in it, if I want to play a melee guy that uses magic as well, I'll play a gish.
Aurelien Amon: Human fighter, member of the Whitewood Vanguard, Hoarite
Lotrik: Not a wise Genasi, probably stronger than you tho, a master of longswords. Fully retired

It depends on the situation, for example if you are up against critical hit immune opponents with high AB, it might make sense to put up that shield and turn on Northlander Hewing for damage. But 'Frenzied Weapon Masters' have been able to play on this server without.A Small Cute Cat wrote:What feats should I go for? I do not know how easily acquirable the previously mentioned tower shield is, but sometimes you do need the extra AC a shield provides. Thus it can be worth the investment.A Small Cute Cat wrote: Is "Monkey Grip" worth taking, for reason beyond the fact that I think it's hilarious to run around with a tower shield and a 2h?
As for your potential fourth class... Divine Champion is one thing to consider among rogue and extra elemental damage PRCs.

i play a FB/WM and i only "needed" the beast tower (monkey grip) when i got to high epics. FGK/fire giants. could likely do without it, but the tower makes the trip safer with less heal kits.

Kalehir Shoomar in the Wide. The Beast Tower Shield costs 150k~, and has +3 enchantment bonus. Therefore, the question is, do you want to spare a feat and have 1 point lower AC unless you make use of a Wand of Shield - or - do you buy one of the +4 Tower Shields with Shield Bash, or 2/- DR, or something else? If you take the Monkey Grip feat, you can also just make use of any +3 Tower Shield you can find from in game consignment store for about 2-10k.

Think I'm going to do the 14F, 5 FB, 7 WM, 4Rogue route.
Are there any "essential" feats this build needs? Such as Blind-Fight and Knockdown/Improved Knockdown, or those armor focus ones.
