Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

When I try to log into the server with my old username, it shows that I have 0 characters to choose from. It's not like I have any high level characters anyway, but I'm mainly concerned if I start leveling a new character, then will that one disappear as well? It's been some time since I last played, but I don't recall removing my characters (although I can't swear on that 100% since I honestly don't remember). Is there any way to check whether they have been manually removed? I'm sure that I have the correct username by the way.

PS. I have legitimate cd-keys through gog, and I haven't shared them with anyone.

EDIT: In case anyone else runs into this issue, using the nwn2 client extension fixed the issue for me.

Sometimes there's a delay in loading the server (especially if you click "select characters" right away when the button lights up), and relogging into your account repopulates your vault, too.
