I'm wondering if opacity can be added to the chat window, and if the font size can be increased.

With the default UI, I have a lot of trouble reading the text.

I see that UI mods do exist, but I haven't found any that focus on the chat window in particular.

There is a file somewhere called fontfamily where you can change font size but careful. Changing the wrong font can make it so you cant see text in the ingame AH or the scry.
