Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I have a level 4 daggerspell mage. When you cast your melee touch attack spell shocking grasp should I get my (total) attack bonus with my dagger which is a +13? I only get +8. I highlight the enemy cast the spell and it looks like he is casting it as if a normal spell not as a daggerspell mage. Then comes into the question how to use the skill arcane throw.

DSM improves the damage of touch attacks only, not the actual touch attack ab

Okay, that makes sense, so if I cast shocking grasp should I do physical damage from my dagger then electricity? Or I read it adds my elemental damage from my dagger to the spell so if I cast combust I should also do electrical damage? Or is it only sneak attack bonus damage? Thanks again.

The damage from the daggers, including whatever enhancement bonus and elemental bonus on the dagger, is added to the touch attack's damage as whatever energy type the touch attack is in. Shocking grasp for instance, will do only electrical damage, but that electrical damage will include the damage from the daggers.
