Coming to America!

Right, so I'm coming to America again in late September/early October and I'm going to take the family to a baseball game in San Francisco at AT&T vs. the Dodgers. Is there anyone on here who can recommend seats at AT&T? I've never been to a game of MLB, so I'm pretty pumped and don't want to come all the way from Australia to end up with dodgey seats.
I'm thinking of grabbing some higher seats so the kids can see the game, ground and bay views. Also, I don't want foul balls zipping past us!
Thoughts?

Thoughts?
Shouting "Carn the pies" might get you free beer over here (in the form of cups thrown at ya, anywhere outside of MCG).
It might get you just strange looks over there.

I might just take a random AFL or NRL jersey over to rep Aussie footy.

An old SF friend of mine is a Giants fanatic. I'll ask him for you mate, and let you know his reply.

while ive never been to AT&T, I do go to a lot of baseball games. the BEST seats for watching baseball are right behind the plate.
dont be shy when you are there either. the area there is usually filled with baseball scouts. they are premium seats though so could cost as much as $100 or more.

My greatest suggestion would be that so long as you aren't all the way up in the outfield, you're going to have a great time regardless- and it has very little to do with the actual game (under normal circumstances, I'd honestly rather watch grass grow than watch baseball). It's all about the atmosphere, and the crowd vibe.
San Fran is a neat place, would love to go back some day. Enjoy your trip- it's a long one!

Moving to appropriate forum section, as the mods have been extremely patient with where posts have gone of late.
