Steadfast Determination failing on a 1

Hello,
As i was out frying up some wyverns for breakfast, i noticed that my character failed a fortitude save vs poison on a 1.
I have the Steadfast Determination feat.
I have an attachment but cannot upload it.
I get the following error:
Cannot add another attachment, 0 is the maximum.

Did you check if you just failed the DC check? As in the DC was 25 and you rolled a 24? Not failing on a 1 means you have to have passed the DC check even when rolling a 1.

yes, that was the issue...steadfast is ok.

Also in the future, check your sheet if your actually get poisoned or such. Sometimes the combat log says you failed a check yet the feat prevented it from doing anything. At least I remember it doing that years ago.

Not sure but I think death ward is still preventing Stat damages from poisons anyway. So a shadow shield or death ward will completely negate the need for any steadfast on poisons.....
