Xenofex (Aggro range/petrification/stuck/animation)

Here are two screenshots of what happened.

First one: The NPC doesn't move nor cast and at this point my character fails a save on fortitude against petrify.
There is no indication that it attacked, no trap went off or anything.
This was the minimum range I had to get in order to see him.

Picture two: While petrified my PC is continuing to make will/fortitude saving throws.
However the NPC isn't attacking or anything.
No animation is shown or aura is visible, I pretty much got stuck there.

- Is the aura working as intended? It looks rather large.
He doesn't appear to aggro from that distance.

- He doesn't display animations, no casting not movement etc,
You don't know what way he faces or when he moves either.

- Currently I have to wait for a reset, do I take an exp hit over this or is this a bug and I can get that refunded?
