Habits/Hobbies: Portia, when she isn’t practicing her craft, enjoys studying through books. The more arcane, strange and mysterious, the better. She has an interest in the supernatural, when there is time to look into it as practice, writing and keeping one’s name in the public eye is a full time job. New clothes and new looks are not a luxury, they are a way of life to her and collecting unique pieces of antiquity is a family practice which she has kept alive.

Background: The only daughter of wealthy merchants in Waterdeep, Portia lived a sheltered life of luxury being prepared for arranged marriage to further the family fortunes. Old money, but never nobility, the Ravenwise clan was known to have been working for many generations to further their social status and wealth. Under mysterious circumstances, her family was murdered, the watch of Waterdeep were convinced it was a murder suicide, but Portia believes otherwise. As strange things continued to happen around her after their murder she decided to take a portion of her inheritance and travel south to Baldur’s Gate in an attempt to start fresh.

Portia’s father had joined a cult cell of the Night Parade in Waterdeep and had pledged his daughter to a ritual at her birth. She has a brand on the small of her back of their symbol, though she doesn’t know what it is. Portia is plagued by strange dreams and often uses them as inspiration for her art. The Harper’s of the area were wiping out parts of the cell that they could find. Whether or not they are responsible for the murder of her parents or the cult finished them off themselves to cover their tracks, she doesn’t know, but does know that her parents were involved in strange rituals and company for most of her life and that they couldn’t have murdered themselves. Goals: To join the White Mask Theater or found a new one, collect antiquities and grow her collection, become a known name in Baldur’s Gate, perform, study and investigate strange occurrences, unravel the mystery of her parent’s murder
