Can cleric levels be chosen for continuing spells per day with Harper Scout? It does say Ranger and Paladin on the wiki page, but also says divine spell class later on the page so I'm confused.

Can I only take 5 levels in Harper Scout? Or does it stop at 5 like Divine Seeker?

What is the maximum amount of classes for 1 character? As in how many classes can a single character take assuming they still meet the 3 before 20 rule?

I've tried finding these answers on the forum and wiki page, but cannot find them.

Harper Scout is only available to Paladins and Rangers.

Harper Priest is only available to Clerics, Druids, Favored Souls, and Spirit Shamans.

Harper Mage is only available to Wizards, Sorcerers, and Bards.

Harper Agent is available to all spellcasters.

All of the above classes are limited to only 5 levels.

Also, in NWN2, you can have up to four different classes. The game does not allow you to have more on a player character.

You could for example make a Cleric 20/Harper Agent 5/Harper Priest 5.

Also worth noting, that Harper agent is only 4/5 caster progression, while mage and priest are full progression.

I would even consider Harper Agent superior, if it were re-worked like the 3 new versions, because of the skills. I would not even mind the 1 CL loss.

What I would probably do if I made a cleric/Harper scout is take at least 6 levels of hierophant to help with CL. I ended up making my demon hunter more fighter/rogue based and moved away from magic all together. I would like a Harper eventually, but im trying to dedicate focus to the RP of 2 characters. If my surfacer continues to play out boring I may make an eilistraeen Harper goody goody drow. Ranger/harper/cave stalker could be fun
