AA + Weaponmaster

Toying around with a Shevarash worshiper concept. I have 3 major goals with the build:
1. A full nine levels of AA.
2. Either 5 or 7 levels of Weaponmaster (probably in scimitar)
3. Fit in Brutal Throw if possible (to make use of those nifty gloves)
Right now I'm looking at 12 Fighter / 2 Assassin / 9 AA / 7 Weaponmaster. Seems plausible, but need to work in that third Assassin level at expense of something. Probably 12 Fighter / 3 Assassin / 10 AA / 5 WM?
Thoughts?

Why assassin instead of bard? Assassin without going 8 levels doesn't seem beneficial... I guess it avoids multiclass penalty though.
Honestly any build that tries to do archery and melee is simply not going to be as good at either...

Correct, or at least without a lot of consumable requisite that's easily flushed with a wand.

Depends on the definition of good. I have access to a +8 Mighty longbow, and the current build does insanely well with it, and okay with a sword. Basically this is just carving down a bunch of Assassin levels to be replaced with WM.
Sure, he won't have HIPS or Expose Weakness, but he will have solid damage output in good gear. Will also fit lore in fun way. I don't expect every character to be able to solo the Epic Content.

Didn't the Enhance Arrow ability apply its bonus on all piercing weapons? (Including the melee ones.) Thus, why not make use of spear or rapier instead of scimitar?
I cannot see the build you got, since it is down for the moment.
Anyhow... You should not underestimate the Half Elf with:
Fighter 10/Bard 3/Arcane Archer 10/Weapon Master 7 or Fighter 12/Bard 3/Arcane Archer 10/Weapon Master 5.

Ah, working at long last and I see some real damage output issues.
Personally I would drop the Weapon Master since it requires a lot of feats and all that. I would just go for a Fighter 13/Assassin 8/Arcane Archer 9. (Fighter 13 is required to get the first level of Assassin.)

Sun, just tested in game. I'm not sure what you meant about Enhance Arrow applying to other piercing weapons. Tested several different basic weapons, and that doesn't seem to be the case.

Well, it was what Chad and MrM3ntalist kept saying on these forums few months back.
Tested it myself in stock game and yeah, it doesn't work. Could have been a server specific bug, perhaps. Who knows.
But the build should still work. You can use whatever melee weapon.

Never trust the QC. Especially you, should know better.
Other than that, the Enhanced arrow does work with piercing weapons. After the one-before-last update, a char had to equip a longbow, then the piercing weapons in order for the bonus to activate. I havent played my char since the last update so i dont if something else changed.
However this was reported as a bug a year or more ago, so most likely this will be fixed. It is just not crucial yet, since most dont know about it and like this thread proves when they know about it, they cant activate it. So yes, like you said, never trust the QC.
As far as the build, there are many Bard/Dreadpirate alternatives that give equal damage and AB to the fighter builds you posted without the need to invest all your feats in two weapon focus line of feats. On top of it you get more skill points and magical damage which bypasses almost everything.
VirtualAngel experimented a lot with Bard/DP/Assassin combos -

If any of you have seen the Elder Scrolls Online trailers,I'm using the Breton Knight as my inspiration. Good with a bow, sword (probably a greatsword), and thrown darts.
Darts is easy, throw on those epic shop gloves and take Brutal Throw somewhere. The hard part is figuring a way to be "fun" with both a high damage bow and sword. So far I like Sun's build, possibly dropping one feat for Brutal Throw, and using a greatsword.
