So halberd is listed on wiki as "piercing & slashing" damage.

But why doesn't it qualify for Dervish, which requires weapon focus in a "slashing" weapon?

Or at least it's not working that way in JEGS. Maybe someone knows differently as created in game.

Dervish feats say that only weapons with pure slashing damage qualify, so stuff like scythe or halberd won't work. But hey, nearly 40% melee weapons are slashing either way.

Well, scythes are piercing/slashing. I just made several tests. Dervish Dance indeed turned out to work with scythes and halberds (to my surprise). But I also found a bug: if you are activating Dervish dance with slashing weapon and then switching to non-slashing (like fists) the bonuses remain and work with everything (even with darts).

So does Dervish dance actually work with 2H weapons then? I have a falcon I'd love to dance around with!

It should. People have made falchion using dervishes on this server before you.

Always worked with 2handed slashing weapons

Yes, everything stacks, but none of Dodge bonuses work during polymorph/shapechange.

If they did, you could just switch form until the dodge bonuses bug out and start to stack endlessly.
