Need DM help

Hi I am a returning player and logged in recently. I prolly havent logged in since late 2016
I lost all my character vault, I spent a massive amount of time on them, one in particular called Qin / Gin
I would very much like to have him back. I have heard that people have had characters restored in the past. Any chance of this at all mateys?
