Hi all
Unfortunately I dont even have as much time as I would like for my main toon so I dont see these going anywhere anytime soon.
But while being too busy to log on, I did day dream up some ideas I am curious to hear others thoughts on
1 - Cleric 12 / Darkfire 10 / Dragon Slayer 3 / IBlade 5
CL 26, okay BAB, bleeding sneaks
Halfling cleric of Gaurgoth with the Law (Iron Will) and Trickery (Feint) domains
Should be able to PTWF Kukris, but no EDM or Expose Weakness
Can this build get a workable Bluff score? I think IB is cooler for this build than Guild Thief but I wouldnt be surprised if 3 Guild Thief / 5 dragon slayer is stronger
Coherent and unique RP concept I think that would be cool
2 - Wizard 5 / Frost Mage 10 / Assasin 8 / Arcane Trickster 7
Tiefling probably makes most sense. Can draw heritage / RP from the Gelugons, Auril or Asmodeus the Ice Warlock
Should be able to deal huge damage with a Polar Ray + Sneak dice
Can focus on Int for high death attack save (proc on RTA?)
Cool RP concept but I wouldnt be surprised if this exact build exists on the server already
Will this build be able to function in stealth w/o pumping Dex?
No real plan for feats, so I guess could take Stealthy and some Skill Focus. Would Autoquickened Ice Darts be effective? how does RTA sneaks work with this?
3 - Warlock 21 / Hellfire 3 / Cleric of Kiransalee 6
Half drow
Dont know how this server feels about cheesing Hellfire, but the Undeath domain gives Death Ward as a level 3 spell - but obviously itd be dispellable
Even with dispellable, EDM + Eldricht Master means you dont need very many Hideous Blasts to kill something
Can desecrate + The Dead Walk although no idea if this is strong
Clunky RP concept in my opinion, a Hellfire + Frenzied Berserker or Hellfire + Stormlord makes more sense to me as far as ability drain immunity goes.
4 - Sorceror 8 / Dragon Disciple 10 / Blood Magus 9 / Fist of Forest 3
CL 27, 30 with Blood spells
Gold dwarf?
Using the attribute boosts to qualify for epic DR, fast heal or both
Claw attacks should? get +1d4 from Fist
Not sure how enhancement bonuses work for non monk fists or for claws?
22 base constitution is 6 AC and boosts the save on Dragon Breath
Believe this build is actually hopeless due to BAB. I think there is probably a cool Dragon Disciple / FotF build but dont know if this is it
Workable RP concept, has dragon blood and does magic with it, fighting unarmed with claws to embrace heritage. Not sure how Gold Dwarf fits...
So - interested in peoples thoughts, what they would do differently and what they think about the feasibility
Gish ideas (feasibility?)

Re: Gish ideas (feasibility?)
Anything is feasible if you want to play it.
Thus in my opinion you will need to take the following feats:
Spell Focus Transmutation - required feat, gives +1 AC while polymorphed.
Augment Form - while polymorphed it turns your low BAB classes into medium BAB, which means you get BAB of 22.
Personally, I would go for Fast Healing over epic Damage Reduction. The +6 points of regeneration is far more benefical to a gish than the DR provided by your spell selection.
Addtionally, you should combine Extended Elemental Shield with Extended Death Armor, and any spell that provides uncapped DR. Basically, your enemies will harm themselves by harming you. You could even cast Tenser's Transformation or Shift Form to pummel them down.
So as your spells, you pick buffs, and offensive spells that come without a DC, alongside with few summons.
Thus you could be a Bronze Dragon Disciple that uses Shapechange spell to become a Bronze Dragon. The epic spell that summons a Bronze Dragon might be a nice addition too. Edit: Blood Magus cannot be Lawful.
And a Gold Dwarf would be a fine choice, and your draconic heriate could be the reason why your character has left the Great Rift. Your character could feel guilt from not really fitting into the gold dwarf society, and rather than be a constant embrassement to your clan and source of problems, it might have been better, more honourable to take the role of an adventurer and travel North-West in search of glory and fame.
These are the server changes done to Polymorphing.wurdpass wrote:4 - Sorceror 8 / Dragon Disciple 10 / Blood Magus 9 / Fist of Forest 3

Re: Gish ideas (feasibility?)
Thanks for the thoughtful reply. And quick too
Would the toon get FotF armor while under Tenser's?
I think it is not supposed to transfer to different shapes but it looks like BGTSCC Tesnsers is custom vs. NWN2 vanilla?
And how does getting through damage reduction go with claws? Are they enhanced by gloves?

I think it should, since Tenser does not polymorph you anymore. You just lose spellcasting, and gain some extra AB. (Augment Form does not apply.)wurdpass wrote:Thanks for the thoughtful reply. And quick tooWould the toon get FotF armor while under Tenser's?

I am not sure, I have not tried, but I think the claw and bite just replace your default unarmed damage. I suppose a QC member should be able to answer that.wurdpass wrote:And how does getting through damage reduction go with claws? Are they enhanced by gloves?
