crafting and forging

I have been looking on the wiki and in these forums for information on crafting and forging.

I have seen references to GGTSCC's own forging system but cannot find any detail.

The wiki includes a lot of detail about crafting using feats and skills but the forums seem to only have negative comments about crafting.

My questions are:

1 Is the crafting system as described on the wiki in use? if so what is different from the original NWN2 system.

2 Does BGTSCC have it's own forging (crafting/manufacturing) system and where can I get some information on this?

3 Are crafting materials, recipes and essences and the like available sufficiently readily to make a crafter build worthwhile?

Crafting on BG is a hoax... many have said it would come over the past 10+ years. The fact that it has not come in all that time says all that needs to be said on the issue.
