A savage drow weapon master in mithril breastplate and shaggy black furs has dispatched svirfneblin messengers out from The Spider's Web in S'shamath to the Schools and into the Bazaar. Through these messengers the dark elf marauder, Nargazul, boasts of discovering a quite mysterious Dusty Tome during a temple raid and might be willing to release it to whichever Arch Mage makes the most lucrative offer.
