All over the Cloakwood (all areas) dozens of larger, older, more distinctive trees can be seen bearing a fresh, about hand-sized carving resembling an eye and the letter A.

By night an ethereal presence within the Cloakwood silently moves about, remaining close to the forest's canopy. It is there in the utter thick of shade that she passes by one of the trees with this marking. A pause from the shaded specter, perhaps to appraise the markings, then moving along, intent on completing her mission.
