armor: mithral chainmail +3 charisma from Doron Amar so might need to end up with 14dex+4bracer to get to 18 dex.
shield:-05% ASF light shield or no shield at all

hi there, need help in making a support 30 lvl bard bard. please give me some suggestion on the build based on the requirements. its for a friend to play together with my characters

Bards cannot take epic spells because all epic spellcasting requires 9th level spells as a prerequisite.

You will want to take Song of Requiem, Hymn of Requiem and Chorus of Heroism as epic feats, in addition to Epic Inspiration.

thanks for the note. so i have freed up few feats since not taking Epic Spells. any other note or suggestion is very well appreciated.

Extend spell is nice for another layer of spell management, and Lingering Song is a must pre-epic. Otherwise you cant really stuff up a bard !

does song of the heart increase inspiration by another +1, and does it stack with Epic Inspiration?

song of the heart isn't on this server and epic inspiration is only +1 vs. the +2 you might be used to from Kaedrin's pack (it looks like you're aware since you put inspire defense +8 in the subject).

Here is an example of a CHA Bard I built ages ago, though it mixes in Storm Singer / Dissonant Chord. With full Bard you'll have bonus epic feats to pick up Chorus of Heroism and either some others or some more CHA. That said, what you may want to do is lower CHA a bit in favor of either more STR or more DEX so you can be a semi-competent archer or melee attacker while using songs/inspirations/spells to boost the party. You don't have enough spell slots to be a true caster and without storm singer your songs can't be used for offense outside Requiem, so you'll either need to use a reserve feat (low damage) or put enough points in STR or DEX to hit things with sword or bow.

thanks Chad for the basic feats that i have to take and the guidelines. it is really useful for someone like me that has very low knowledge in playing a bard.

about background, how effective is Natural Leader Background.

1.Should i expect it to be fully broken where it does not add +1AB to my companion/party?

2.Or there is a range 30 feet or 15 feet for my party to be able to benefit from Natural Leader?

3.Or it will be wonky where sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not work?

Epic Inspiration Requires 30 Perform, which is only available at level 27.

Natural Leader does not work at all as far as I know.

If you are willing to drop the 25 charisma then Fast Healing is possible.

Thank you Sun Wukong. i have considered dropping Epic inspiration perhaps for single survivability character.

some people also taught me that 25bard/5DC can also reach the same inspiration and forsake some feats(lvl 26 and 29 bonus feat) while getting many special perks.
