Arcane trickster says as a prequiste,, able to cast one arcan spell of third level or higher.
How does one get just one arcane spell third level or higher??
and would that work for blood magus as well since that asks for third tier arcane spells??

Wiz 5, Sorc 6 or Bard 7 (with 13 Charisma) will satisfy the arcane component for taking the arcane trickster PRC. You still need 2d6 sneak attack and other skills from rogue to fully qualify.

It may be just badly written in the arcane tricksters description. Thanks

There is no build that will let you cast just one third level spell without leveling up through lower tier casting if that is what you are asking.
