i just sold a plain q-staff for 582gp at store. I have no appraise skill investment.

It was secretly an epic Quarterstaff of Awesomeness that has the power to change the very essence of Faerun and make Orcs the dominant race for the rest of all time... That merchant just ripped you off, and ruined your chances for finally bringing glory to the One Eye and becoming the greatest Orcish King to ever live. Typical Orc....

yep.. i sold it to an orc though... so... we will now have a blacksmith with this power.. One NPC to rule them all.

tried to see if it was exploit and bought a reg. q-staff and it was marked at 0gp when i went to sell.. so just some strange "one of" here i guess.

With one of the recent updates, a quarterstaff with magical properties will still be named "Quarterstaff" and not something like "Left Cheek of Helm's Rear End."

I'm guessing that you just sold a magical quarterstaff without examining it!
