Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Looking to ask for assistance rp wise in helping clear a Caves in Cloakwood.

Which forum would use. Mainly looking to setup help for me and my friend.

Become mission now to clear this cave after dying 3 times tonight in it.

And still new to forums and not sure which one to use

I suppose there may be three options:

1: Make a thread in Sword Coast Roleplay with a rumor regarding a pair of adventurers seeking assistance to explore the part of Cloakwood you want to clear, which may lead to setting up a group to tackle the area. I'd be specific about which cave, since there are the mines, the minotaur maze, and the hag caves which would all fall under the description of 'caves' in Cloakwood.

2: Using the PlayerScry tool, set up a custom status about looking to group up for the area with other players. Potentially, someone would contact you in-game and join up.

3: Grind (roam around and kill monsters for experience) for a bit in areas that you are comfortable in taking on, use funds to purchase better gear, and then tackle the zone with overwhelming force.

Cool thanks for tips.. Like end of 2nd week on server so still getting feel for things.

We've tried just roaming not had much luck finding anyone to join in that particular area. Unlike some of others we been exploring.

If options 1 and 2 don't work out, a couple decent zones to go adventuring in before tackling Cloakwood would be the Hilltop Ruins and Chionthar Ruins.

For Hilltop Ruins, travel south of BG Eastern Farmlands to Wyrms Crossing (a big bridge dominates the area, but one can cross it instantly for a few gp by talking to either the ferryman on the north side or a bell to the south), and the entrance to the dungeon will be in the southwest corner of the map. The dungeon has several zones, which if traversed will take you the long way to Friendly Arm Inn, with plenty of treasure chests between point A and point B.

Chionthar is a slight bit tougher, but has a nice circular design so you can roam around the dungeon for a bit. To get there, once again go to Wyrms Crossing, but then go to the "Trail East up the River" transition to the Northeast. The dungeon should be in the Southeast corner of the next map. As a bit of a tip, Chionthar ruins has a pair of secret doors which are opened with tiny, well-hidden buttons nearby, so be sure to keep an eye out.

Another alternative is to use the Discord server. There is a LFG channel where people often post their levels and areas they are looking to RP in.
