Hello All
I have a Question not sure if this is where to place this Question and if not please forgive me. My Character is a Merchant and I have lots of items stored on my horse. I need to RCR my toon to RP better in action. I wanted to know if I RCR my toon will I loose all my Items stored or will nothing happen and I can rest easy??
If any one can help me with this I would be very happy for I don't want to loose any items that I have for trade.

Indeed this is a good question right before the 100% RCR period! I must know!

I am fairly certain horse storage works like the BG merchant storage system. i.e. it is based on your account and PC name. Thus if your RCR'd PC has the same name as the original PC he/she still should have access to the same horse.
All that said, a simple test... Log in game with a DIFFERENT PC and use disguise system to change your PCs name to your PC that owns the horse with all the goodies. Then go to the horse merchant and tell him to bring you your horse. Are the goods there? If so you should be fine RCR'ing since you will be able to give him the same name (or disguise to the same name). If not than I would go ahead and move your items to merchant storage.
Sorry, I would run this test for you, but I am in the office today so no going in game for me... However, if you have questions about how to execute the above feel free to ask and I'll try to walk you through it.

Very good question if no one tests this within the next couple of days I will and leave an answer here.

Just glancing at the DB table that holds the information it seems to be the same as the persistent storage, so it goes by account name and character. In other words if you're rebuilding a character of exactly the same name your stuff will still be available to you.

Thanks for the quick response to my Question. I wasn't going to change anything just the build
but keep all the same. Well Here is to hoping all goes well.

I can 100% confirm this.
I recently had my character DM renamed and this caused her packhorse to completely vanish. Using disguise mechanics to rename the character did not work to bring back said packhorse.
You will have to remake your new character with
exactly the same name, although you can get a DM to do this for you later. Note that your horse will reappear where the first character left it, so make sure you put it somewhere accessible!
