Flame Blade & Moon Blade (Not hitting large mobs)

As the title says I have been testing out both flame and moon blade. They work as intended but for some reason they do not hit large mobs like the hydras in the Forest of Wyrms, Dragons, some larger elementals, Wyrmthraxx, etc.

Bumping this, as it is still an issue. Any potential solutions?

Was unable to hit large mobs (large hitboxes like hydras and dragons). IT would still do the attack rolls, but not the melee touch rolls.
I know you can melee touch large mobs, i would use harm on dragons with herio for the 150 damage.
The cast point was the same as when you would melee a mob (same distance from the target)
Side note, i also noticed if you would rest, the moon blade would still be floating in the air where you were standing, staying in that spot even if you moved.
