Goblin Wizard Grease spell perma slow

Goblin Wizards in East Chionthar ruins.
Cast grease on my toon. My toon was under Flee the Scene haste benefit at the time.
Left the grease zone, and still slowed. For many minutes after.
Assuming rest will fix it but have to wait for next rest cycle.
