Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

The Crusader weapon selection feat is bugged in that it is granted to you at level 2 instead of level 1 and so you are always a level behind what you should be with Weapon Defence. At level 27 having selected the Crusader kit at level 1 my character is still getting +4 shield ac from Weapon Defence instead of +5 as it is meant to be in the description.

I am guessing this might apply to other feats like Spell-like Ability: Holy Sword, and so you can't get the unlimited version at level 29, and again you won't get the +6 shield ac from Weapon Defence at level 29 either.

And this is really inconvenient when the 100% rebuild period will end in two weeks.

I have just RCR'd into the Crusader Class. My character uses a bastard sword as his weapon of choice. I have been advised that it may be bugged as I can't use the bastard sword even though I have selected it as my weapon of choice. I would have thought and others as well agree that since this is my weapon of choice that I would not have to take the feat "Exotic weapons".


I have tried relogging and laying the weapon on the ground and picking it back up. Nothing seems to help. Please advise as to what I need to do or is it bugged as others have suggested.

You need the Exotic Weapon feat.

Weapon of Choice works great with my Crusader that has Exotic Weapon, selected at Level 1.
