How hard it is to find an item with track feat now? Helmet or a belt, preferably.

Is the cloak easily obtainable in stores or a part of loot table?chad878262 wrote:I think only a cloak is common with the track feat. It is possible there is some grandfathered item out there that has it, and of course there is no telling what the RIG might generate, but I would at minimum say anything besides the cloak would be anywhere from Rare to Doesn't Exist.
I don't think it's sold, but they aren't that uncommon. I think I have one in storage somewhere (maybe). The do not have regen, I think it's a version of Cloak of Elven Kind. Has bonuses to spot/listen/survival, maybe hide? I don't remember exact stats, but it was bonuses to various skills and the Track Feat.NegInfinity wrote:Is the cloak easily obtainable in stores or a part of loot table?chad878262 wrote:I think only a cloak is common with the track feat. Also, something tells me it is not a regen cloak.
You don't need track to make it work. So long as you have Survival of 20, you can track anything. I remember having my Druid character with 15 Survival with a 20/+5 for 20 in Survival skill, used track mode, and saw all the NPCs in the area without the track feat.NegInfinity wrote:How hard it is to find an item with track feat now? I was able to track enemies too. Gnolls, bears, etc. in the general area in that server.Tsidkenu wrote:You need track for enemies that are not humanoid, animal or vermin, eg. Undead, giants, lizard folk
Tsid is saying that without Track you can't track enemies like Undead, etc.ARHicks00 wrote:I was able to track enemies too. Gnolls, bears, etc. in the general area in that server.Tsidkenu wrote:You need track for enemies that are not humanoid, animal or vermin, eg. Undead, giants, lizard folk
I'm saying without the feat, you can still track everyone in the area, including enemies.chad878262 wrote:Tsid is saying that without Track you can't track enemies like Undead, etc.ARHicks00 wrote:I was able to track enemies too. Sigh. It also tracked undead in catacombs of the server.Tsidkenu wrote:Gnoll = Humanoid
Bear = Animal
Try with an example that's not of the racial category Humanoid, Animal or Vermin. Your tracking simply won't work; you must have the tracking feat for those - giant, undead, ooze, abberation, dragon, shapechanger, etc etc etc.
