Durable Manyshot plans? Question to Developers/QC...

After I couldn't find the perma-Manyshot dialogue for one of my RCR builds, I read in the forum that this function has been disabled to make room for the new Examine function. Given that long-term Manyshot is crucial for a) builds with many clickies (e.g. Divine Wrath, Combat Strike etc.) and b) shapeshift archers that can't access the manual button for it at all, I am wondering what the plans for it are. Will it be brought back and does it make sense to design a build around it or not? The RCR period is about to come to a close...

The forum is busy these days - this is just to give this question a little bump due to the looming end of free RCR. And don't worry, I won't do this sort of bumping regularly.

Not likely.
Personally, I always felt like the manyshot with the shapechange form seemed excessively powerful. It already does good damage for a shapechange form without manyshot. Doubling that seems too much.

Getting a lot of requests to bring this menu back so it will probably come back in some form or another. Whether Manyshot in particular will be allowed while Shapechanged is a separate matter entirely, I don't think we've ever had this feature in the module since we introduced the new shapes, and with the Arboreal Elf it seems like it would be quite powerful, but QC will have to give that some talk.

I may be mistaken, but I think it was mentioned before that the chat menu option for Manyshot was taken out because of some conflict with conditional examine. Maybe the option could be toggled by a free feat granted whenever someone gets access to Manyshot (much like how paladins get a free feat to activate Disrupting Strike and Blessed Strike whenever they get access to 1st and 3rd level spellcasting, respectively).

That menu also had the shadow weave vfx toggle Wolfrayne wanted back. I suggested somehow hooking it to the Shadow Weave User feat itself to toggle that vfx on/off.

Thanks for your responses so far. Hopefully someone can give a definite indication I can build on, so to speak.
As to Manyshot and Shapechange - I know that this combo worked before. If the shapechange forms are deemed to be OP with Manyshot, I think it would make more sense to reduce their regular damage or change its type (part of it is already elemental and hence not doubled by Manyshot) to at least allow for dedicated shapeshift archers who are willing to invest a few feats in it.
