Melee-Spellcaster Build

Hey there, not really familiar with character building so I wanted to put up my question. Tried to dig around the forums for anything related but couldn't find anything.
In essence I want to build a Hexblade Warlock from 5e or a Eldritch Scion into Eldritch Knight from Pathfinder. So, basically a melee/spellcaster that's CHA/STR or CHA/DEX based. Should I go with warlock or sorcerer, and then after that how should I build into EK? Also, been looking at Blackguard, would that be worthwhile as well or no? Saw the sneak attack at level 4 and thought that'd be good. Otherwise, I'm open to suggestions. Blood magus also looked interesting to pick up but I'm not sure how to fit it in. Thanks in advance.
