Wasn't sure where to post this so putting it here.
Oghma's Wisdom for sale - headband +4 Wisdom. Only 24,698 gp?
Other items seem rather low in price at Phlydia's Shop too.

known issue, items will be removed and pricing fixed so I'd advise against purchasing.

Im actually surprised that item got through QC. The server already had a +4 wisdom item (gem of glitterdepth - amulet) meaning clerics who took it had to sacrifice their NA slot for it. Wisdom on a helmet is going to greatly diversify item optimisation for cleric & druid builds, two classes that really dont need the help.
Does anyone from QC care to explain the reasoning for it?

It was decided that +4 ability items will be available with relatively low restrictions regarding the slot that will be available on. Items for the rest abilities (str, cha, con, ) can be implemented as well, upon request.
The +4 amulet was of an era before this decision and was only implemented because of the restriction you described. I remember it used to have a negative that got removed for the same reason as above

was originally requested as a ring, to which we said no. The directive of server administration has been to keep +4 stat items to either helms, bracers or amulets as has been implemented with the INT helm and DEX bracers. Other slots might be deemed acceptable as M3nt noted, but will likely not put +4 stats on rings.

From the RP side, Candlekeep is a monastery, and this is our epic guild shop. It made sense that the item be +4 WIS.
The discussion in QC was extensive, be assured. (I remember it from when I was a Developer.) As Chad said, the original request was for a ring.

So by implication does that mean +4 stat items of other kinds will be created for all the relevant slots eventually and put in other assorted epic guild stores? I'm fine with the lore aspect of the shop I'm just trying to understand why two of the most powerful classes got a second option of +4 item when some classes still don't have any (ie. fighter +4 str).

when it first went in, the merchant was behind a locked door, but when I checked after a later update the door was gone, making the merchant accessible to anyone. My understanding is epic shops are not supposed to be behind guild only locked doors. My assumption is the merchant will remain accessible.

Nothing has been submitted, but based on directive from administration if a guild or other group wants to submit a request for a shop with +4 STR or other +4 item it would be approved in some fashion. Most likely would need to be gauntlet or helm, but other slots might also be considered.

No guild asked for the other items - yet. Every guild qualifies for an epic store, with a total of 3 epic items one of which can be a +4 ability item. Another req is for the shop to be accessible to everyone, which answers bdobolina,s question

Items should be on one of the two main public merchants. All PCs can access them - even people banned from CK provided that they have their AFK tag up and do not engage in any RP. Otherwise, normal CK law applies. (Including the “no white attire” law!)
As guild leader, I first requested this store in the summer... of 2017. It’s had a lot of work put into it, and other guilds - if they want an epic store - are encouraged to put the work into it, too.

I'm still hoping guilds will make this happen. But it takes effort.
