Raz posts a notice at the Baldur's Gate outside merchant with the following notice:
The great Overgnome, Raz Mataz, has acquired an item of great beauty and use and offers it for auction to the highest bidder. I must warn any who bid, I have not decided to part with this grand item unless it sells for enough to remodel my quarters at Kraak Helzak and, of course, my wine vault.
