Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

In perfect timing, I had to take a work trip this week and didn't get all my RCRing done. So I am trying to finish it up before the reset. Except I've got a problem. I was online last night, no worries. This morning, trouble.

I logged in once, easy peasy. I logged out and immediately logged back in - no characters listed in my account. Log out, try to log back in, it times out.

If I close the game and wait a while, I can reconnect... to an empty character bank again. Second login attempt in quick succession times out over and over again.

Anyone have any ideas?

1) Make sure you type your username correctly. Triple check this.


2) Wait a little while when the character Vault opens. Sometimes it likes to have a think. Shouldn't be more than a min though. Just saying, it's not always immediate.

It's something to do with the hotel connection it seems. I used my phone as a wifi hotspot and it worked immediately. I switch back to hotel wifi, and I can connect the first time, blank character vault. I wait a while, nothing. Then I try to reconnect and the connection times out. It's really quite odd.
