Warlock Pacts: Whats available

Hey all,
Been considering making a warlock, the idea of a far realm warlock of Dendar perhaps pacted to some other powerful entity.
Is this something the server setting supports and are there any people familiar with class lore on warlocks who have sources on the various types of pacts and what type of creature can support a pact.
If star pacts are not supported, could the Dm's explain why this is not allowed as the idea of a character slowly progressing towards or struggling against insanity seems like a great way to play a tragic hero or really stupendous Anti-Villian. A new variety of arcane caster with built in consequences to their borrowed power seems like a fantastic alternative to the arrogant haughty wizard trope as well.

Star pact warlocks are allowed.
I'm not sure Dendar is associated with the Far Realm, though? Regardless, pacting to any "named" primordial or elder evil (demon lord, etc.) should be run through the DM team as a matter of course.
A less "important" entity or fey creature or demon doesn't require DM team approval though.

Is there a new/official list of Warlock pact sources, currently allowed on BGTSCC?
It used to be that Warlocks could only pact with Devils or Fey, but as Big Mac notes, Star Pacts are now recognized.
So...Devils, Fey, Stars, Demons...ancient dragons perhaps?

Dragons were never providing any Warlock Pacts, as far as I'm aware, in Forgotten Realms. However, ones that are known to exist are:
1. Devil (Most common)
2. Fey (Less common)
3. Demon (Rare)
4. Elder Evil (Star Pact. Also rare)
5. Slaadi (Super ridiculously rare)
6. Celestial Eladrin (Also super ridiculously rare)

Thanks for the reply Soulcatcher. The reason I’m fishing here is because Star Pacts are a D&D 4e addition, and BGTSCC was traditionally in the 3.5e version.
And if we’re opening the Server up to 4e content, then why not 5e? Because in 5e there is the Ancient Dragon Patron PrC that forwards Warlock progression.
Who wouldn’t want a bit of Tiamat’s POWER!!!

Ancient Dragon Patron for 5e is a homebrew Warlock patron, it is not amongst the official material.
For 5e these are the official WotC patrons:
From PHB:
The Archfey
The Fiend
The Great Old One
From Xanathar's Guide to Everything
The Celestial
The Hexblade
From Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide
The Undying
In addition to these, Unearthed Arcana ones are for playtest and not officially published. (both Celestial and Hexblade patrons originated here first then got published in official books)
The Raven Queen
The Seeker
Majority of these patrons for pacts are already covered in our server. I think the hexblade and the undying are the only ones that are not. I doubt that they would be approved or not but here is a quick rundown on these two.
Hexblade is a mysterious entity from Shadowfell -or Plane of Shadow as its called in 3rd edition timeline- which described as; a force that manifests in sentient magic weapons carved from the stuff of shadow, Blackrazor is the given example for such sentient weapons. This one is not necessarily an FR patron.
Undying patrons are described as; once mortal, the Undying has seen mortal lifetimes pass like the seasons, like the flicker of endless days and nights. It has the secrets of the ages to share, secrets of life and death. Larloch the Shadow King and the second incarnation of Gilgeam the God-King of Unther has given as examples for our setting.

I found this topic as I was looking for the write-up I did a while back.
Thought I'd drop a reference here, should the OP ever be looking for it again

If Forgotten Realms Wiki can be believed Dendar has existed at least as far back as 2e (not a huge help since our timeline is 1e, but the origin story would indicate she was still around and 'worshiped' during our time.

We have Dendar in detail on 188 of Powers and Pantheons. More info on Page 140 of Champions of Ruin too, even if Champions of Ruin is 3.5 we might as well include it as well.

So this Celestial Eldarin pact that is super rare, would that require dm approval because it's super rare?
