Today is a national day of thanks for Americans (I've found that most countries have something fairly similar in their own traditions, albeit on different days).

And while I have many, many things to be thankful for this year, one thing I'm thankful for every year is the community we have here at BG:TSCC. The joy everyone here has brought and continues to bring to each other, the skills our volunteers share in an effort to make this place better, and the dedication of so many of the long time players here are just some of the things that make this a truly special community -- one that I'm very grateful to be a part of.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the US members of the community, and thank you to all who have given me a place to make memorable stories with over the past three years!

My husband and I live in a place with a very tourist driven economy, and thus work in tourist reliant jobs- so invariably, everyone else's holiday is our work day. So, just remember while everyone is out and about if you have to run into a store, or go to a restaurant- be courteous and kind, leave a little extra in the tip, or whatever- these folks are putting in hours so that your holiday goes just how you want it to.
