Request: Techsmith of Gond - Class Skill - UMD

I'd like to propose that Techsmith of Gond get the skill Use Magic Device as a class skill. If not this, open up an option for a modification of the Technical Knack feat to include Use Magic Device in the list of bonuses granted to skills.
My reasoning: I've understood that the skill Use Magic Device is about having learned, researched, and/or mimicked the ability to successfully use a magical device that a character may not have had 'formal' qualifications, training or suitability for use. They have perhaps gained this ability to Use Magical Devices foreign to them through various means including:
*Trial and Error
*Watching and repeating a practiced professional.
*Conducting research into the device to better learn its foundation and then applying this knowledge into practice.
I'd posit that the Techsmith of Gond is an engineer, inventor and technical explorer at heart. To be one, your character would have a thirst for knowledge; wanting to push the very boundaries of what is known and capable; experimenting with new and innovative means of conducting actions, and ultimately be fearless in 'having a go'. All the while, recording their successes and failures, to ensure they better themselves or others for next time.
Whilst this is a short proposal. The TL:DR of it would be summarised as this:
Techsmiths are Engineers. We like to play with things we're not meant to. Please give Techsmiths UMD as a class skill.
In closing statements... I'll just leave you with some visual reasons why Techsmiths/Engineers rock!
