I log in to play the game and enjoy myself. I don't log in to force my RP on anyone or ruin their RL day.

That being said I tend to not log in much anymore. Not because I don't enjoy the game, but because of the irritation I constantly get and OOC explanations I'm asked- so I would like to put this out as a public announcement.
If you can't handle losing, leave me alone.
If you have OOC drama, or are seeking it, leave me alone.
If you can't be OOC polite, or seperate yourself from who we play IC, leave me alone.
If you just don't like me? Leave me alone.
If my RP isn't suited to your goals in playing the game, leave me alone.

My characters behave at level 1, the same they do at 30. I tend to only RP with people who ask me to RP with them, because I'm exhausted with worrying about what a player might whine about OOC'ly. I hate PVP'ing because I'm scared to win, because of how players act when they lose or don't get to stomp my face in.

I as a player do not like logging in or checking the forums and finding a DM message about being reported for X-Y-Z, because now I need to take time out to explain myself and I tend to not take screen shots because I honestly just don't have the time or energy for it. Most who have known me extensively know that I don't behave a certain way because I have certain gear, a certain build, or am trying to flex internet muscles or whatever the hell people think. I leave players who interact with me as many RP options as they would like, and I hope to forward the community and am fully aware my character isn't polite nor nice.

And if you don't know what I'm doing in a certain area, for the love of god stop assuming that it's PVP baiting or looking for a fight. Unless you push my characters I am more likely to write you a threatening note on the ground and leave the area than fight you, and I have way more than my share of losses. Often because I will not innitiate even when I should or RP dictates, because to put it 100% bluntly I'm scared to on an OOC level.

So I beg you, please, if you fit any of the above criteria just leave me the hell alone, I'm tired of dealing with stupid crap.

BTW, I'm honestly more concerned with Captain Pike in Broken Goblet spamming that damn "What will you fine folks be havin today" in an annoying ass voice than you getting your feelings hurt because things didn't go your way.

I like you and your rp. you can rp with me anytime.

I completely understand you (at least because I almostly don't log myself lately for similar reasons), and I'm at your side here. I have seen you rolling with the punches and accepting defeats with dignity many times and by no means you're a griefer/pvp-monger/whatever bullshit you were reported for. You have my support, Israe!

You and I go pretty far back on this server. I’ve delt with you in every way possible, in just about every form possible. You have always been fair, honest and accepting.

It’s a lie to assume every player or dm will treat you fairly. It’s a lie to say people don’t hold personal feelings towards you, which I can not think of any legitament feelings people should have in that regard.

People will tell you to ignore them. Play around them. What many of these people who say that do not understand is it is really impossible. These people will seek you out, they are the traffic signs on the roads of game play at times. There is no avoiding them and they will lie. After all they gone this far to annoy you, it is not a stretch to go that much further.

With all that in mind. I do say there is a big but, and a silver side.

There is a group. If not more then the group mentioned above who like you. Who want to play with you. Who enjoy you. I will wager always. There is more people who rather play with you then reject you. We accept that those who do not like you are not beyond lies and false hoods. You can’t do anything about the detractors, so just keep in mind more people enjoy your company than do not.

I always believed BG was meant for multiple play styles. Maybe this has changed sense I been gone? I don’t think the mission has changed, maybe not so well remembered. ?

In the end. Once again. Everything said and done. This thread will remind you, more people like you then don’t. As you see your detractors are even to afraid to publicly stand up. . But those whom support you have no fear to do so. I hope that is a loud message to you.

By the way.. when truly in a pickle. Trust in Macius. May take time and understandably, but you will get a fair ear.

Just saw this thread and thought I'd add a little blurb.

I don't really know you personally, or what troubles you go through. But I had a lot of fun engaging with you a month and a half or so back north of Beregost, and even if nothing more came between Jys and Aesa themselves, it helped create a lot of RP for me on the surface following it. And likely even more if Aesa had lost. (Which was a huge possibility, I never told you but I only had one Heal potion left at the end)

You're great for people like me Israe, I enjoy being on the losing end of a one sided fight as much as the winning side. (I'm pretty sure Azzara or whatever that Tiefer's name is, is gunna come blow Aesa through a wall someday to) I enjoy the tension you bring, the feeling of a bigger fish swimming in the same pond. Someone who isn't going to get mad if they lose the fight, shake hands and move on afterward. Or kidnap them, or whatever other cool things you can come up with.

Anyways, I hope you don't let the haters get you down. So long as you're observing PvP rules and making things interesting you have my confidence.

I had to take my time before posting here, in order to try and find the words for this.

I have always enjoyed the RP interactions that our PC's have had, now I do have a few things to add.

PvP is a thing not many are comfortable with, and that's understandable in some light. The reasons either being drama related or other.

I have always seen a PvP loss IC'ly as... Well, if I got my butt kicked hard enough I might want to stay down, so my PC's try act the same way in some light. While I expect others and their PC's to try and act the same, it's unrealistic as an expectation on my end that I have come to realize.

I mean, I have gotten into IRL fist fights with another three times over in two months time as they could not figure it out, after I won the first two attempts they had on me mind you. Sometimes you have to let others learn the hard way, as cynical as it may sound. Same with IC, mind you.

So the end result is clear that I'm only in control of my own actions, just as much as the PC's I play and the consequences that are in line with each and every action made.

As for OOC drama? It's inevitable that each social circle has it regardless, as I told another. You can do what you can to try and mitigate it, but it's out there regardless. Each and every human is wired with emotion in some form or another, it's what gives us an identity in a way.

Some of us (like myself) have limited our interactions with others in OOC ways that can be helped, I myself do try to withhold comments as it's such a small community that you know it will slip to one another in the end. Not saying that it does not happen regardless, as I myself (like all) have limits.

You are 10/10, that one time I was kidnapped by you is still one of my favorite stories to tell.

I also had a lot of fun rping with you as well. I found it hilarious when my warrior was revived by your Israe in the gnoll cave. Only to be scared crapless by her being a drow. XD
