Hello, I'm Gendr, Cameron, Aiden, whatever you want to call me. I've been playing for about 3 weeks, really enjoying myself and trying to get a hang of DND, NWN2, this server, etc. I am BRAND NEW.
so, the character I've come up with is a halfing who prefers to spend time as a spider, an "Arachnomancer" if you will. The class combination is obviously due to the halfing choice and the need for darkvision. My plan is to stay in phase spider form as much as possible when fighting.
I planned on starting as Fighter, getting Track, Dodge, Mobility and the other REQs for Shadow Dancer, getting dark vision and the REQs for Cavestalker and then switching to that. Obviously have to get each to 3 before 20.
Would this be viable? I do not need to be amazing, just good enough and able to have fun in a group. I do not want to change my race. I cannot do CS10/D20. Can anyone make some feat suggestions or honestly suggestions of any kind?
Greatly appreciated.

Vermin Shape
Type of Feat: Class Ability
Prerequisites: Underdark Affinity and Wildshape
Specifics: You transform into a phase spider. As you grow in power you vermin shape also increases, gaining 4 strength, 3 constitution and dexterity every 4 levels(lowest is 10,10,10). Growth progressions at level 6 and is based of both your Druid and Cavestalker levels even if no spell progression was gained at the relevant Cavestalker levels. This ability consumes one wild shape and uses the amount wildshapes you have per day.
You'll need to have access to wildshape to assume Phase Spider form.
Solomon, Luckbringer of Tymora ~ A copper to the Lady, returns tenfold in gold!!
Dartryn Mallocant, Evoker Mage ~ "Do you have time to talk about magic?"
Traegan Daershun, Archer of the Whitewood Vanguard ~ "Of course we'll help...for a price."

You right! Any way you can think of making a druid/shadow dancer/cavestalker halfing?VDub wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2019 7:07 pmVermin Shape

Re: Halfing Fighter/Shadow Dancer/Cavestalker
If I were you, I'd start as a rogue. Alternate rogue and druid until you have 3 levels of rogue in. Take Able Learner at 1st level. Take the required feats and skills to unlock Shadowdancer. Once you have one level of that jump right into Cavestalker if you have the required feats. Just finish up your three levels of SD before 20. Be sure to squeeze in practiced spellcaster: Druid.
Use this site to get your basics in. They don't have the cavestalker class on there but at least you'll be able to plan up to that class. http://nwn2db.com/
Hope this helps.
