Frost Mage's Piercing Cold affects an odd list of spells

It might be worth looking into which spells Frost Mage's Piercing Cold ability should affect. These are the spells currently included:
Burst of Glacial Wrath, Cone of Cold, Creeping Cold, Greater Creeping Cold, Hypothermia, Ice Storm, Lesser Orb of Cold, Orb of Cold, Polar Ray, Ray of Frost, Frost Breath
The first thing that's somewhat off is that three of these spells—Creeping Cold, Greater Creeping Cold, and Hypothermia—are unavailable to arcane casters. Frost Mage requires 1 level of Arcane Spellcasting and 8 Lore: Arcana. I suppose a Druid could pick up a level of Wizard and sink a bunch of points into a cross-class skill, but is that the idea here? Does Frost Mage even have a divine spellcasting progression feat?

Then there are a few arcane ice spells that aren't on the list. I'll add them as I find them:

Ice Lance

Bard, wizard, or sorcerer levels allow clerics, druids, etc to progress divine spellcasting progression with Frost Mage PRC. Aurilites had a few of such characters years ago.

Hey Rekov, Have you actually tested if those spells work with Frost Mage? The reason I ask, is because I don't think the feat spell list is complete. For example, these spells have a note in the in-game description that it works with Piercing Cold yet they are not on your list.

From your splayed fingers shoots a beam of mixed energy and multihued lights. The beam burns and freezes, sizzles and screams.

This spell is a wide-spectrum blast of radiant energy composed of all five energy types. Rainbow blast deals 1d6 points of damage from each of the five energy types (acid, cold, electricity, fire, and sonic), for a total of 5d6 points of damage. Creatures apply resistance to energy separately for each type of damage.

As you gain in levels, the damage die increases in size. At 7th level the spell deals 5d8 points of damage, at 9th level it deals 5d10 points of damage, at 11th level it deals 5d12 points of damage, at 13th level it deals 5d14 points of damage, and at 15th level it deals 5d16 points of damage.

NOTE: The cold damage from this spell works with the Piercing Cold Feat

You fire a ray of swirling, multihued light drawn from radiant energies. The lights hues wind together but remain independent.

You must success on a ranged touch attack with the ray to strike a target.
If you hit, the subject is dazzled for 1 minute.
The spell also deals 1d12 points of damage per three caster levels (max 7d12).

A rainbow beam deals a random elemental damage type based on a random die roll.

1 fire
2 acid
3 electricity
4 cold
5 sonic
6 two elemental damage types.


NOTE: Rainbox beam also works with Pierce Cold for the cold damage.
(Note Rainbow and Piercing Cold are spelled wrong in the note.)
