Why people buy Ametrine?
What do they do with that?!?

Well I get why it doesn't make sense.
It's not like we have that kind of economy on BGTSCC...there's not rivaling currencies, no GDP, GP can never drop to zero, it can't be lost and I have never had it stolen, it has no weight so it's as portable or more than ametrines that take up space. On the contrary, GP will always have the same value while amterines will fluctuate depending on person's Haggle or other players' whims, while the NPC vendors have a static limit on how much they'll pay for anything and ultimately unless you find someone really gullible you'll always lose money on buying then selling Ametrines.
