Trøllabundin eri eg eri eg
Galdramaður festi meg festi meg
Trøllabundin djúpt í míni sál í míni sál
Í hjartanum logar brennandi bál brennandi bál

Trøllabundin eri eg eri eg
Galdramaður festi meg festi meg
Trøllabundin inn í hjartarót í hjartarót
Eyga mítt festist har ið galdramaður stóð

"Trøllabundin" - Eivør Pálsdóttir

Description:
Galdramaður stands roughly five and a half feet, and has skin slightly darker than his Ruathym peers along with hair black like obsidian also uncommon in his homeland. This is due to his mother being a wizard from Halruaa. His steel grey eyes, common to his father's people, can often be seen squinting at the pages of a book and the book is poetry as often if not more than his spellbook. On occassion, four thin, whitish-pink scars can be seen peeking over his collar near the left side of his chest. If he removes his top, the scars extend across his torso to vanish below his belt, a reminder of some past event that haunts him still. When he is not reading he talks quietly to his familiar Stjarna, if pressed he will admit that the familiar is named for his dead sister, but will say no more on the matter. He doesn't seem to deal with people well, though he often exhibits a desire to help or protect them.

Known History:
Galdramaður, or Galdra to those who refuse to pronounce it, rarely talks about his past, and almost never about the incident that haunts him still. He holds out hope that one day, he will find his sister again, and reconcile with her. He has plans to visit his mother and brother in her homeland, and to learn their brand of wizardry, but first, he must find himself and cleanse his soul of the guilt he feels and his mind of the visions and nightmares brought on by his need to know.

He travels outside his homeland now, seeking to protect others from the horrors of the world and to learn as much as he can as to the nature of those horrors and his own magic. He is know to have a penchant for poetry of all kinds, but in particular from the book he keeps, a gift from his younger twin sisters.

"Life clinging backwards, in the fall of dread....confusion
Still this silence, gnaws upon your fingertips
All-yielding prayer, for instant....isolation
Far more sinister, than the price of doubt
Yet you remain, still you remain...."
