Paladin + Horus-Re

I cannot choose Horus-Re when taking the paladin class. When I started level 1 as another class with Horus-Re as my deity and take paladin on 2nd level I am forced to change deity.
There are paladin orders dedicated to Horus-Re.

3e Faiths and Pantheons list Horus-Re worshipers as 'Administrators, judges, nobles, paladins'.
The book goes on to say that after the ToT the pharaoh tried to reorient the highly politicized church to be more faith orientated but does not mention that this is when the paladin order started.
Claw of the Sun and the Ankh come from 3.5e Champions of Valor but does not mention when it was first formed.
His 2e avatar has 40 levels of paladin.
Maat seems like a great RP code for a paladin.

Oh nevermind. Powers and pantheons confirms that it was formed following the time of troubles.
