Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Is there a way to be able to manually target an undead minion with spells like negative energy ray, inflict X wounds, or dark bolt for example? I am having trouble with this and the only spell I have that I was able to use was negative energy burst because it didnt need to specifically target them (is an aoe). I can use a wand of cure X on my other summons though (including my undead which harms them). Is there something I need to enable to allow me to heal my minions with negative energy? Very new here so I apologize in advance if this has been answered before .

it was broken with some new way summons work, not sure if it was ever fixed

It was never fixed during my tenure. Only the Mass (AoE) Inflict spells worked, or Regeneration/Mass Vigor, or heal kits.
