Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I was soloing Alie (Monk Assassin) in the underground fortress, made it to the boss. I had used up a good bit of consumables (I would guess about 5000gp worth) along with what spells she could cast and was ready for the big fight. She had him down to his last few HP then POOF, he was gone. Can we up the de-spawn timer on him. Nothing but junk in the chest and no where enough gold to cover the cost of scrolls, potions and heal kits. I'm sure he had the key to the chest with all the goodies in it.
