Booted on Character Select

So, I've been thinking of picking this game back up and returning to BGTSCC for the summer as I have a lot more free time on my hands right now due to issues with my employer. I can log into to the character select menu, but I get booted out after character select from the server? I understand I need to get added to a list or something?
