Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

The PW may be up, but for the sake of not wasting time, I wouldn't advise anyone to play at the moment. Last night I spent hours trying to get to the next lvl and I at last managed to do so. Wake up today, and all that progress is gone, xp and gold. I try to redo all of it, and I finally, again, reach the next lvl, and then I crash, and literally all of the progress is lost again. And just to make it clear, throughout it all I've clicked the Save Character button repeatedly. The intention here is not to complain, as I know the staff are doing what they can to remedy the issue. The only reason I wanted to make this post so that players that aren't aware of it, are now made aware. There is little point at the moment going through adventure sites or quests, because there is no guarantee you will keep that progress. Please put up some notice that the server is unstable despite being online.

Confirmed, its just a waste of time right now, I will just pretend server is down like last couple of days.

edit: checked the save again and seems to be working, the issue is something different.

I haven't lost anything... Seems stable to me. All my gold and XP has remained through resets. All my items found remain in my inventory.

It doesn't seem to be a server wide issue. At least it's not affecting everyone.

haven't noticed any trouble with my 2 rcred and muled toons yet.

Yesterday I saved through the pc tools, it saved my location but didn't save my items or xp
This was before Chambo brought down the server for the hotfix.
Hopefully it has been solved.

Even if the server isn't saving our characters, at least we can use it as an IC chatroom.

If you have a new character that has the same name as an old character, particularly after an RCR, it's possible that the old character has overwritten your new character when you come back to play later. Both characters might be in your vault, but only one is showing:

Basically, you can't have two characters in your vault with the same name at the same time. Or rather, you won't be able to access them both if you do.

Hit me up if you think this might be the case in your case and I'll do some troubleshooting with you.

In my case, I haven't done any RCRing nor bartering. And I still see that all that progress is gone.

Something similar has happened to me, as the items that I looted last night weren't saved and now they're all gone from my inventory. *sniffles*

I also have not rcr'd

I forgot to add that I haven't RCRed either.

Hmm. Any chance any of you might have been disguised this past weekend, when you last logged off, before we turned the Disguise function off in the latest update?

I have never used disguise before, in my case

That does not apply to me either.

I have logged in a few times to find that my character has lost XP, still had a quest in his journal that I know I finished earlier, and still had items that I know I sold earlier.

It seems my character is getting repeatedly rolled back in small increments?
