improve the Whirlwind Attack feats

As i just noticed that wonderful NH whirlwind effect, could we not attach this effect to the regular whirlwind feats ?
Whirlwind Attack, Improved Whirlwind Attack, Tempest Whirlwind
Adding some damage dice and making it trigger either on activation or randomly (in combat), would make these feats much more useful overall.
Any thoughts ?

It would remove the secondary use of these feats, which is striking the stealthers, hidden, invisible, etc. I'd leave them alone.

Would be great if at least the range could be improved like the Tempest Whirlwind Attack. One big downside to the Whirlwind Attack ability is that if you are fighting multiple foes, and you've clicked on the ability repeatedly, the timer will often screw up, and you instead won't do any attacks, unless you move and try again, and click the ability at the right moment. Very tedious

I personally have the whirlwind attack just because it is necessary for the PrC I want. I NEVER USE IT, simply because it has zero effectiveness beyond "ooh, shiny!" on occasion, and the RARE (and I do mean rare) combat opportunity.
Given half the chance, I'd toss it in a heartbeat. It's not a feat I would have if I could get away with it.
To anyone who has the authority to change the feats and PrC requirementsd, can we get this one put to the wayside? Please?
