Recommended connection speed

I'm looking at some cheaper options for Internet service and was wondering if there is a recommended connection speed. I'm considering a 20 mbps package, thanks
That should be perfectly fine, unless you want to do multiple things at the same time.
I'm forced onto 25 mbps (otherwise I would've had more ... but I've got no better options ¯\_(ツ)_/¯), and that works fine, unless I'm playing, watching a youtube video, listening to music, and god knows what my girlfriend is doing on the internet
But then it just lags a bit. It's not unplayable, but somewhat annoying.
You should be fine with 20 mbps, if you're on your own, and probably still with 2 people.
