New Concept

Hello all,

I've been playing on bgtscc for some time now but I've never been much into multiclass character building. I have a concept that I've came up with & could use some feedback.

I've been playing recently as a pure sorcerer but there is a plethora of limitations associated with that & I figure this build is much more flexible in a PVE/ Main character aspect, let me know what you think (I'm currently level 18).

Yuanti is not a player race here and swift blade also not available.

Theodore01, thanks for the input, I have edited the build. I was assuming these were new race and class additions.

There are new races and classes, but Yuan-Ti is not one of them. Can't view your build as I am at work, but it's important to note that the NWN2db is not a perfect builder for BGtSCC. Often times players need to use 'substitute' Classes/PRCs to mimic BG options as closely as possible and then add notes to remind them of specific differences including changes to racial stat distribution, free/bonus feats that do not show up, substitute feats (such as Resist Poison) utilized in place of BG custom feats (such as Shield line, Blinding Strike, etc.) or custom skills (such as the lore skills).

This wiki is the most up to date source for you to study the races/classes available on BGtSCC: https://wiki.bgtscc.net/index.php?title=Main_Page

Shadowdancer PrC requires 19 DEX to access.

Also, if you take Epic Prowess it would be in order to take Expose Weakness (which you will want, and your must have for a build like this, imho).

Your build is also looking at a -40% Experience penalty, which in my opinion, is so harsh that I'd bet my millions you won't play it for very long.

Perhaps you want to explain what RP Idea you have, and the community could give you some options from experience? Cheers.

I took your advice and updated the build. I think we are getting close but with this many levels in monk and sd not being an option. I'm thinking 20/10 monk will be superior at this point.

Your Monk 20 / X 10 split will be difficult to play, imho. The build lacks APR and DMG.

I'd go for something more like this: http://nwn2db.com/build/?308324 But still this build has low damage output.

If you want to go for Monk 20 / X 10, then seriously consider using Unarmed in place of Kamas. Kama is a great weapon if you get PTWF + Greater Flurry. Otherwise, Monk 20 gives you 2d10 unarmed damage, which is great (and Adamantine type!). Not to forget to mention that if you go for Monk 20, you should also take the Intuitive Attack feat and pump WIS all the way, since it benefits your AB and AC.

Monk 22 / Ranger 4 / Fighter 4 would be pretty good, if I understand what you're looking for in terms of RP.

Build edited for unarmed. I know that a full wis or dex build would be superior but I really want to stick with strength & I don't want to take the hit on will saves or SR by choosing a different class.
