So I worked out a Paladin build that has respectable EDM, while also including Master Alchemist, Craft Wand, and Scribe Scroll.

My question is... how stupid is this idea?

Would a paladin sell his divinely gifted paladin-only spells to people? Potentially evil people? I suppose that is the question.

Yes, he wouldn't just peddle them to anyone. I imagine he'd gift them to other paladins, or clerics, or trusted companions.

I'd say mechanically it'd be poor. But anything can work, if Hoihe is anything to go by.

Sooooo... turns out you can't make a bunch of the elixirs or wands that you'd want from a Paladin, anyways. Like, Righteous Fury can be made into an elixir, but not a wand. And the spell that gives you a sacred Charisma bonus can't be made into an elixir or a wand.

I dont think Holy Sword wands are UMD-able.

they also cost 45,000g just to make so.... it will be an insanely small market

So I am assuming that you guys mean a character has to be LG to use a Holy Sword wand, but can a character with UMD and Craft Wand make a Holy Sword wand?

yes anyone can craft one.

Yeah, I just tested it. You can use a Holy Sword wand to make another wand, but you can't use it to buff a weapon unless you are LG.

...anyone wants to sell a Holy Sword wand, you let me know!
