BACKGROUND
Born into a noble Cormyrean family of a strong military tradition, Kamine grew up idolizing the life of a soldier. So it was only natural then that once she came of age, the young girl would take the oath to the Crown and take her place as a member of one of Cormyr's Purple Dragons. She spent six years in the service of the King of Cormyr, and still considers herself to be a proud Cormyrean no matter where she calls home.
After her time with the Purple Dragons was through, Kamine traveled West, arriving in Baldur's Gate during the Devil War. She plied her trade not to the North on the front lines of the infernal incursion, but to the South, preparing the lands of Beregost and Nashkel to prevent the enemies of Baldur's Gate from closing them in. Indeed she was able to successfully raise funds to outfit the militia of Beregost, and aided in multiple sieges against hordes of the undead in Nashkel.
She would know tragedy when, shortly after her victory in Nashkel, the Knight would receive word of her father's illness. Riding hard to return home to be beside him, the warrior was only just in time to bid farewell to the man who raised her. Thrown into despair, the aasimar found comfort in the only thing she knew to cling to, her faith.
Kamine delved into the teachings of Tempus and her patron the Red Knight, taking her vows as a priestess to both deities before she made the decision to return once more to the Sword Coast and champion the beliefs of her gods and bring honor to her family.
