Question about Ranged AB

Hello!

I found a Great Widowmaker bow and started a new character to use it. Ranger 30, Wis based, Zen archery.

I am currently lvl 8 but what i struggle to understand is the AB mechanic.
When i fire arrows i get what seems like random AB bonuses/maluses. This is independant from rapid shot or manyshot or spells increasing AB. And it sound weird to me.
In the combat log there is no penalty reported but sometimes they occur (mainly -1 or -2). More often i get random bonuses (from +1 to +4 or more). It's good, it's always good when you get bonuses but i really can't understand where they come from.
I have Point Blank Shot so i can understand the +1 in close range but not the rest.

If someone can point me a thread or something where to find info would be much appreciated.

Well i've read that page of the wiki and it's all about penalties, thanks anyway.
I don't get penalties anyway or at least the combat log says "AB Penalties = 0".
On the other hand when it says there should be no penalty i get random bonus or malus. Bonus more often than malus, maybe i am just lucky, but i would like to know if there's a way to plan and build around the ranged AB or i just have to hope to be lucky like now.

Yeah that was my only real thought, I didnt know if it was still active. I play an archer as well and for the past couple of weeks have only had maybe 1 or 2 instances where there have been a penalty to my attack. Havent seen a positive modifier yet I don't believe, but maybe im a bad archer
